Auto Racing Night

Friday, July 12 is Auto Racing Night at Loeb Stadium! The Aviators are teaming up with Daugherty Racing and Wolf Racing to celebrate the rich history of racing in Indiana.

Adding to the automotive theme, we will have the Grant's House raffle car on-site:

Daugherty Racing will have their Late Model (pictured below) on site as well as the Gregory Racing Modified for fans to view and take photos with. Wolf Racing has two micro cars that they will have on the concourse, along with hero cards of the drivers. In addition, anyone wearing racing apparel will get a voucher for a free bag of popcorn at the entrance to Loeb Stadium.

Daugherty Racing is a dirt track racing team started in 2007. After racing for 6 years, the owners, Michael and Kim Daugherty, bought the speedway in Benton County. They decided to take this year off from operating the speedway so that they could race full time again. Michael races a UMP Pro Late Model.

Wolf Racing began back in 1981 when Doug Wolf bought his first Go Kart. His love for racing and competitive nature was passed down to our two children Febe and Connor, as they began racing Quarter Midgets in 2012. The team retired the smaller cars and moved up to Micro Sprints running Wing and Non-Wing. In 2019 they continue their passion of racing the Outlaw Wing class and Non Wing class across Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri.
