70+ Community Organizations Raise Funds with Aviators

LAFAYETTE, IN – The 2019 season saw the Aviators set an all-time attendance record helped in part by 70+ community organizations who used Aviators baseball to raise funds for their programs.

Through the Non-Profit of the Night, Jersey Auctions, Ticket Donations and our Off-Season Fundraiser Pack, the Aviators donated more than $20,000 to non-profit organizations in Greater Lafayette.

“We really enjoyed the evening recognizing our local Boys and Girls Club. I think the Aviators did an awesome job with the event. We’re looking forward to the 2020 season!” said Barry Richard, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club.

The Lafayette Aviators are a summer collegiate baseball team, playing in the Prospect League: a top summer collegiate baseball league operating with twelve teams from Missouri to West Virginia. The Aviators are playing their 2020 season at Purdue University’s Alexander Field, while construction is completed on a new stadium on the site of the original Loeb Stadium which hosted the Aviators from 2016 through 2019.  The Aviators are working towards a mutually beneficial lease agreement with the City of Lafayette for play at the new Loeb Stadium beginning with the 2021 season.
