A new era is coming to Loeb Stadium, as the Aviators home will be replaced prior to the 2021 season with a new state of the art facility to be constructed on the same site as the current stadium. Home plate will move to the center field area of the current ballpark, allowing for the facility’s main entrance to be placed on the corner of Main and Wallace streets.
The new ballpark will accommodate approximately 2,500 patrons per baseball game. Included in the new facility will be a synthetic playing surface, suites, party areas, modern concessions and restrooms, and other features that will allow the stadium to host non-baseball events.
The current Loeb Stadium will be torn down immediately following the conclusion of the 2019 baseball season in order for construction to begin. The Aviators will not play at Loeb Stadium in 2020 during construction. The team is exploring options for an alternative location to play the 2020 Prospect League season.
